DESCRIPTION:
The regulating cocks toclass 3 safety according OPB "GENERAL SAFETY REGULATION", group С according to “ Regulations of Nuclear Power Installations”.
As to purpose and nature of functions performed according to OPB the gates can be used as members of ordinary operation systems – O and enabling systems – E.
Cocks are made with shaft stuffing-box packing ensuring controlled leakage discharge from packing interspace when cocks are installed to systems with radioactive operational medium. Cock design with external electric actuator requires local indication for control member position.
FUNCTION:
Regulating cocks are designed for control of operational medium characteristics (flow rate, pressure, etc.) at process systems of NPPs.
MOUNTING:
Regulating cocks are weld-connected to equipment and pipelines. Regulating cocks are installed to horizontal pipeline with spindle facing upwards out of upright of no more than 5°.
