Manufacturing plant: IFAZ DESCRIPTION: The gates refer to class 2 according to the Firefight Safety Rules, to group B according to the rules for an atomic power plant. As far as application and functions according to the Firefight Safety Rules are concerned the gates can be used as the elements of the normal operation system – H, Protective – З, Providing – O. The gates operate for 1000 hours of the working life in the normal mode under the pipeline medium speed up to 7.5m/sec. For the fittings of SAOZ and SAOP systems at the emergency mode short-term increase of the medium speed up to 25 m/sec. is allowed for the period of 10 hours a year. The medium feed-up direction corresponds to the direction of the arrow at the case. The gates are closed upon the medium flow stopping and are opened at the pressure difference at the stopping organ not more than 0.03 MPa. The structure of the gates ensures environmental tightness. The gates have a remote control device for the open and close position of the flap. The gates DN 300 are equipped with a clip terminal block to ensure the single input for the alarm circuit of the end positions of the flap. APPLICATION: The gates are made to ensure an automatic emergency make-up upon drop of pressure in the special circuits of atomic power plants with water-cooled power reactors or in case of systems shutdown. MOUNTING: The gates are connected to the pipelines by welding. The gates are installed at the horizontal pipeline with a gradient not more than 0.004, so that the axle and the shaft of the flap are parallel and above the horizontal axle of the pipeline. The gates when installed at the vertical pipeline are positioned with the inlet downward.
