Producing plant: IFVP DESCRIPTION: Pressed and welded design of valves. The valves are remotely controlled through electric actuator with a manual standby. The manual standby is switched to electric control automatically. The valves fall into 2nd safety class under ОПБ, group В under NPU Rules. According to the designation and performed functions under ОПБ the valves may be used as elements of normal operation systems - Н, and localizing systems - Л. Main technical data and characteristics are given in the table. PURPOUSE: The valves are mounted as shutoff devices on air ducts of ventilation systems passing through NPP reactor compartment in containment systems. MOUNTING: The valves are connected to the equipment and pipelines with the help of flanges for welding. Valve mounting position on vertical pipelines is any, on horizontal pipelines the valve spindle should be situated in the upper hemisphere relative to the horizontal plane. Electric actuator mounting position is any except for the position when the electric engine in under the electric actuator.
